Advancement into Gas and Power Business in Australia
Tipton West Gas Processing Facility
Our division and the Power Projects & Infrastructure Division, have advanced into the energy business in Australia, through the acquisition of gas processing, gas pipeline and power generation assets held by Energy Infrastructure Investments Pty Limited (formerly APA GasNet Australia Investment Limited (GAIL)), a subsidiary of the APA Group, one of Australia’s most prominent energy companies.
Xinyi Songshan Lines System-Wide E&M Project in Taipei City

Marubeni, in conjunction with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and CTCI Corporation, won an order in March 2007 for Xinyi Songshan Lines System-Wide E&M Project in Taipei City, which covers a full package of rolling stock, signaling system, power supply system, communications system and automatic fare collection system. This project is expected to greatly contribute to easing traffic congestion in Tapei City.
